@ buky..It looks nice. That yellow is not that bright though.. it looks simple and cute :)
posted about 11 years agoI know how you feel. Yellow is a terrible color for me. But I love it. The key is to keep it away from your skin/face. Such as in wearing a skirt with tights. Or use it in your accessories. Like a yellow bag.
posted about 11 years agoI don’t have much yellow in my wardrobe but if I were to wear yellow, I would wear it with colors like gray or white.
posted about 11 years agooh I have yellow. I like bright colors. I wear yellow shirts though, I wear them with rainbow jackets. Or yellow and pink. But you should be aware if you dress in bright rainbow like me, you will probably stand out.
posted about 11 years agoyellow is one of my favorite colors
i wear yellow with white, grey, navy, blue, teal, purple, peach, brown, mint green.
i tend to stay away yellow from black because i feel like im a bumble bee haha
I second Jannine that wearing yellow away from your face may be the best solution if you think it doesn’t flatter you. My cool skin tone looks bad with most warm colors, so when I want to use orange or yellow I usually incorporate them below the waist or with an accessory. You can also play around with different shades of yellow; for instance, I find I can wear a top in pastel yellow but not in bright yellow. But for the times nothing but bold, saturated yellow will do, pull out some bright tights or a sunny skirt.
posted about 11 years agoLook for a yellow summer dress..
you can wear it..
-with nude color pumps..
-with a sky blue cardigan and shoe pair of choice.
etc…
the two options can go with most skin colors.. and I think it’d look great on your tanned skin :)
And yes..avoid black.. as said by faye726
but wear neutral colors like white and grey..
a dressy yellow top and white jeans plus stunning studded shoes look soooo great.
P.S.
take examples from celebrities who like wearing yellow.,.
Tyra Banks, Paris Hilton, etc…
Try mustard colored items! Mustard seems to be much more flattering of a shade on most skin types and you can find many pieces in that shade at the moment. Also, tights would be a great place to add a yellow pop since it won’t be right next to your skin.

posted about 11 years agoi love wearing neutral colors and having just a pop of color. i recently got this neon yellow cropped lace tank from uo and it looks really good with jeans and either a dark colored cardigan or blazer.
posted about 11 years agoI think it’s eaiser to wear a yellow skirt/shorts or tights than wear a yellow top :P
I love the look of a mustard yellow skirt paired with a cream or white blouse. Like this!
