yes lace is still in but for fall 2011 there’s a lot of menswear and simple looks so if you ever wear lace I think you should match it with more classic pieces. Your dress will always be a must for special occasions so don’t sweat about it :)
posted over 9 years agoYes I think it’s still trendy, but who cares what’s in trend, wear it if you like it! I think lace is classic too :)
posted over 9 years agoI agree with coldlight! I think lace is perfect. It is now, and I think it will be forevermore. It so classic and chic and I adore it so much. (I also agree with the fact that you shouldn’t care what’s in trend.)

I agree. Lace is pretty awesome on dresses-have you seen the gingham&lace dress with lace under the bust, pretty nice- and if you have any lace pieces as blouses that can totally make the menswear trend this fall a little more romantic with it underneath.
posted over 9 years agoI know that my brother, who is a designer, is showing lace for scarves as accents- I have some on the website for his stuff…www.shopicl.com.
He is not using it for handbags- he did over the summer- now? fake fur is a big one.

ayappe your dress sounds super cute! I agree that lace is still in. I think colored lace is also a new trend for example reds blues and other rich jewel tone colors. Lace is all about the styling. I loved how someone mentioned it with menswear I think thats a great way to keep lace modern and edgy! I’d love for u girls to check out my blog xoxo! :[my blog]

definitely – especially in fall 2011! it looks great with oxfords for a vintage look or combat boots for an edgy look xx
posted over 9 years agoYES to lace! I love it and it’s definitely a classic, especially this fall. :)
posted over 9 years agoI agree that lace is classic and if you love the dress wear it. However, it also sounds like the sleeves are the only part that are lace? If i’m reading the post correctly. If you’re self conscious about the lace sleeves just through on a cardigan, blazer, jacket etc. and no one will see the lace and you’ll be warm :)
