This is actually a ROMPER! I inherited this gem from my mom almost a year ago. The story is pretty comical.
We were in the process of moving and my mom had come across a box of old photos. I was looking through them and came across a picture of her and one of my aunts in the Virgin Islands and she was wearing this adorable pink romper.
“Oh my gosh! That is so cute!” I exclaimed.
My mom examined the photo for a moment before looking at me with a knowing smile.
“You like that, huh? Is that something you would wear?” she asked.
“Uhhh YES. It’s adorable!”
She then retreated into her room, where I heard her shuffling through boxes and moving things around. She emerged after a few minutes with the romper in hand and gave it to me.
I first debuted it at Studio B in Brooklyn for my friends’ band’s show (http://myspace.com/vegavisions <—check ’em out) and then recently wore it again in Dallas for the Santigold afterparty at The Cavern.
Needless to say, I always receive plenty of compliments on it!
