So in the ongoing [life] series of redressing men, I thought I’d drive home the idea of putting together a COMPLETE outfit.
What does this mean? It means once you’ve stepped into the land of skinny jeans, there’s no going back. Your shirt must be fitted, your jackets must be streamlined, and your shoes MUST NOT BE SQUARE TOE!!!
Think of it as a race. You’re running and you’re getting close to the finish line… you’re almost there¦ almost there¦ and then you drop dead. That’s kind of like what an incomplete outfit feels like. If you’re going to commit to a look make sure you’re in it til the end because women can tell when men have given up.
We took our example male shopping. He is average height, but a larger build than our first example male. His girlfriend, Hot Boots, has a slightly inappropriate fixation with Korean boy band members, so we’ve dressed our male in our very own interpretation of the look. Note the elongating effect it creates through the leg with the incorporation of a shoe with a narrow rounded toe. His own belt and a fedora complete the look.
Polaroid photo used in absence of digital camera (out of batteries that day sorry).
